Birthday flowers from Studio Choo

It's my birthday today, I'm turning 25. Time flies.

I'm so thankful for the past year, for my dear friends and my family. And for everything this blog has brought to my life. So many nice people and new friends. Thank you!
And to celebrate it I brought some flowers from Small Stump's Studio Choo. I wish I lived nearby and could make an order in their shop.

Julia Rothman: wallpaper and prints

I'm a huge fan of Julia Rothman's work, I'm sure the most of you might know her patterns and illustrations.

Recently I found this new to me wallpaper that Julia designed for WallCollection, it's really darling and I thought I'd share it with you.

And these are two letterpress prints by Julia, available at Little Paper Planes for $25 for each, or $40 for both.

Calendar and cards by Amy Soczka

How cute are these products by Amy Soczka of Amy Marcella? I love her simple illustrations and use of color. This beautiful calendar would look so good at my wall.

Manifold

Inspiring workspaces

I hope you have a good weekend. I'm spending lot's of time at my desk working for university right now. I think it's important to create a space where you feel at home, so that working there is comfortable.

This is actually a workspace for children from the Swedish Elle Interiör. But it works also for grown ups with a love for color and humor. Found via Remodelista.

Atlantic Treefox

Beautiful cross-stitched pieces from Atlantic Treefox. Designer Erin Gilkes creates these beauties inspired by vintage patterns and samplers. She also offers custom initial and monogram/crown cross-stitches.

Transformation on a budget

I enjoyed the New York Times article about a Loft-transformation for $5,000, that I found via Darling Dexter. It became such an inviting place, sunny and serene.

News from Marimekko

Marimekko has launched a new tableware line called Oiva, designed by Sami Ruotsalainen and decorated with the patterns Siirtolapuutarha and Räsymatto by the talented Maija Louekari. The cute patterns are also available as fabrics.

I think they will be added right to my christmas wishlist.

And some other news:

We are celebrating a huge anniversary here in Berlin: 20 Years since the Fall of the Berlin Wall. I was a little child when it happened but nevertheless it's very moving. I can't imagine what it would have been like to grow up in a city encircled by a wall.

New print by Elisabeth Dunker

And she did it again. It seems that everything that Elisabeth Dunker of Fine Little Day gets in her hands turns to gold.
Her new print is inspired by vintage embroidery, ornamental folk art and modern pixel graphics. The details are too good. See the pooping cat? :D
