Inspiring workspaces

I hope you have a good weekend. I'm spending lot's of time at my desk working for university right now. I think it's important to create a space where you feel at home, so that working there is comfortable.

This is actually a workspace for children from the Swedish Elle Interiör. But it works also for grown ups with a love for color and humor. Found via Remodelista.

These huge windows are so great, all this light floating in. The light is really something I'm missing this time of year. Images from: Trine Thorsen, James Merrell, Marie Claire Maison.

And in these two I adore the black elements. And of course I love the R's in the window. Image above from the Danish online shop Nordhjem, image below from Marie Claire Maison.

The last photo is absolutely stunning. I think whenever I finally get my own study, I'm going to install a sliding ladder like that. So fantastic.

I love the space with the huge window. I work facing a window too and even when I'm stuck at my desk, I still feel connected to the street and to the world.

I wish i had the space in my home to have an office to put up all my books and make an inspiration wall. Sadly my tiny house doesn't allow me the space.

Oh my gosh, if I had that comfy sofa in my workspace, it would call to me to take a nap all day long. Doesn't it look dreamy?
