To continue with bold black and white typographic patterns I'll show you these teatowels by stiksel. They are screenprinted on linen or cotton in Rotterdam, Netherlands. And I love them.

Ugmonk shirts

Oh my. My interent connection is still not working. It seems to me like a never ending story. Our internet provider has some trouble. But I won't moan. Instead I'm visiting my mom today and using her internet. ;)

Meyer-Lavigne

Meyer-Lavigne is a Danish design collective and the duo behind it is Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne. I'm a huge fan of their ceramics, and I'm happy, that these beautys of their "rainy days" collection are now available online at stilleben.

This is a picture from summer several years ago. We were on the ferry from Sweden to Finland. On the deck the ground was covered with patterned plastic mats. And that are my feet...

Home of Madara and Andris (Zai)

Here comes a little tour through the creative home and working space of Madara and Andris of ZAI. The couple lives with their two cats in an Art Nouveau building in the center of Riga, Latvia.
I'm so in love with their playfull and light interior. You can see the aging of the apartment that adds a romantic feel and patina. I really like the details like the light blue ceiling in the kitchen, the colorfull stickers on the dark wooden floor and the painted headboard.

Sunday dinner and layout fixing

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had guests over for dinner, lot's of cooking and doing beforehand and a lovely afternoon with yummy food. That was good.
I'm going to work a littlebit on the layout of my blog, so don't be confused, when the layout might look strange in between.

P.S. I read about the american Jim Haynes living in Paris, who is hosting a dinner for strangers every sunday for the past 30 years. That is an amazing thing. You can call or send Jim an email to book a spot and the first 50 or 60 people who call may come.
Wouldn't that be an inspiring experience meeting people of all ages from all over the world in an little parisian apartment? I defenitely would do it on a trip to Paris.
