Transformation on a budget

I enjoyed the New York Times article about a Loft-transformation for $5,000, that I found via Darling Dexter. It became such an inviting place, sunny and serene.







I really like how they divided the living space from a new bedroom area with the Ikea Expedit shelf. See more images, before and after's and get more information about the costs and furniture right here.

    You're right, that shelf is a perfect dividing wall. You can see the light through it, yet there is still privacy.
